...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Utah...

  Sevier River Near Hatch affecting Garfield, Kane, Sevier, Iron
  and Piute Counties.

.Warm temperatures will continue to melt snowpack, causing elevated
flows.

For the Sevier River...including Hatch...Minor flooding will
continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Avoid walking near the riverbanks as the flow of the water is high
cold and fast. Keep children and pets away from the riverbank.

The next statement will be issued Monday afternoon at 1200 PM MDT.

...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sevier River Near Hatch.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 3.9 feet (1046 cfs), minor flooding will affect
  fields. Assorted bridges and select low lying structures will
  receive minor flood damage.
  At 4.3 feet (1353 cfs), moderate flooding will affect fields,
  roads and bridges along low lying stretches of the Sevier River
  including the river crossing along the South Hatch Dam Road.
  Additionally, structures in low lying areas will receive flood
  damage including seasonal homes near Bullberry Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM MDT Sunday the stage was 4.1 feet (1180 CFS).
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 AM MDT Sunday was 4.2 feet (1219 CFS).
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate between minor and
    moderate flood stage each day with daily peaks occurring each
    morning. While the river is currently not forecast to return
    to moderate flood stage, a combination of warmer than
    forecast temperatures or more rainfall than currently
    forecast could force the river back to moderate flood stage
    briefly.
  - Minor flood stage is 3.9 feet (1046 cfs). Moderate flood
    stage is 4.3 feet (1353 cfs).

    Moderate flood stage is 4.3 feet (1353 CFS).

...FLOOD WARNING FOR A DAM RELEASE REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by upstream dam release continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Arizona, including the following
  county, Yuma.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Lowland flooding and inundation of unbridged crossings
  will occur along the Gila River downstream of Painted Rock Dam.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 706 AM MST, water being released from Painted Rock Dam is
    traveling through Yuma County, with a USGS gauge in Dateland
    indicating flows at 8.4 feet, which is near minor flood stage
    (9 feet). These elevated flows will continue to flood
    unbridged river crossings and may inundate some farmland.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Paloma and Roll.

* IMPACTS...Lowland flooding and inundation of unbridged crossings
  will occur along the Gila River downstream of Painted Rock Dam.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 706 AM MST, water being released from Painted Rock Dam
    continues to travel down the Gila River through Yuma County,
    with a USGS gauge near Dome showing flows near 22.3 feet,
    which is above action stage. This will likely flood unbridged
    river crossings and may inundate some farmland.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ligurta and Kinter.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Lowland flooding and inundation of unbridged crossings
  will occur along the Gila River downstream of Painted Rock Dam.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 703 AM MST, water releases from Painted Rock Dam continue
    to remain steady. These releases will continue to make
    unbridged river crossings impassable and may inundate some
    farm fields between the dam and Agua Caliente near the
    Maricopa and Yuma County line.
  - Roads impacted include: Poco Dinero Road, Rocky Point Road,
    and South Oatman Road.
  - Some locations adjacent to the Gila River that will
    experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of Maricopa County downstream of Painted
    Rock Dam.
