...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 1045 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 750 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.6 and 1
    inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sierra Vista, Hereford, Fort Huachuca, Charleston and Ramsey
    Canyon Preserve.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Route 90 between mile markers 318 and 329. Route 92 between mile
    markers 322 and 331.

    This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
    Monson Rd from HWY 90 and Hereford Rd.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHEN...Until 1045 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 740 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor
    flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1.2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Whetstone, Huachuca City and Fairbank.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Route 90 between mile markers 308 and 312. Route 82 between mile
    markers 51 and 62.

* WHERE...East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
  Northeastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 930 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 624 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1 inch of rain has
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mainly rural areas of East Central Pima and Northeastern Santa
    Cruz Counties.
  - This includes Route 82 between mile markers 36 and 41.
