This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast
Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Light snowfall will continue to taper off across southeast Nebraska
and southwest Iowa this afternoon. Snow covered roads may become
slick.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Dangerously cold temperatures return Thursday morning, with low
temperatures of 6 to 16 degrees below zero.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected; however, any reports of snow
amounts and road conditions are appreciated.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Gusty winds across the Sisseton Hills area will continue for a couple
more hours and could still lead to some additional localized blowing
snow and brief reduced visibility.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A clipper like system moving through Tuesday into early Wednesday
may bring a round of light snow to north central and northeast South
Dakota and a wintry mix to central South Dakota. This system will
generate some blustery northerly winds, including gusts up to 35 mph
Tuesday night into Wednesday that will produce subzero wind chills
on Wednesday.

Cold temperatures persist early Thursday with readings falling into
the teens below zero with wind chills as cold as 25 below zero in
portions of the James River valley and surrounding areas of
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Light snow is forecast to move across the area today.
Accumulations will be minimal in northern and western Iowa, but
from central into southern and eastern Iowa an inch or more of
accumulation may occur and cause minor travel impacts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Very cold temperatures are forecast from Wednesday night through
Thursday. Wind chills of 10 to 20 below zero are possible around
sunrise Thursday.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
