...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PANOLA...EASTERN RUSK...
NACOGDOCHES...SHELBY...ANGELINA AND SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTIES THROUGH
600 PM CDT...
At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tatum to near Chester. Movement was east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Carthage, Center, Huntington, San Augustine,
Tatum, Tenaha, Timpson, Garrison, Beckville, Joaquin, Deberry,
Pinehill, Martinsville, Macune, Shelbyville, Melrose, Bland Lake, and
Neuville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

a line extending from 9 miles northeast of De Kalb to near Harleton.
Movement was east at 20 mph.

possible.
