...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT THIS
EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this
evening.

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Hot Temperatures...and Strong Gusty
  Winds could cause erratic fire behavior.

* AFFECTED AREA:
  In North Central WY...Fire Weather Zones 282 and 287.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
  In Central WY...Fremont.
  In North Central WY...Hot Springs...Washakie.

* WIND: West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 12 percent.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs in the middle 80s in zone 287 and middle 90s
  in zone 282.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

* TIMING...From 1 PM to 9 PM MDT Sunday.

* WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity with
  critically dry fuels may result in extreme fire behavior.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly based on these criteria
for Southeastern Idaho:

- Relative humidity at or below 15 percent and wind gusts of at
least 25 mph in the mountains, or 30 mph in the Snake Plain.
