...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO
MIDNIGHT CDT SATURDAY NIGHT...
...EXTREME HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
  with heat index values up to 109 expected. For the Extreme Heat
  Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 106
  possible. The warmest day is expected to be Saturday.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central
  Nebraska.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, from noon today to midnight
  CDT Saturday Night. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from late Saturday
  night through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight low temperatures will fall no lower
  than the upper 70s, providing limited relief from the heat. Steady
  south winds may provide some relief for those outdoors, but
  dehydration and heat-related illnesses remain possible even in the
  windy conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

  with heat index values up to 104 possible. The warmest day is
  expected to be Saturday.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and south central
  Nebraska.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from noon today to midnight CDT
  Saturday Night. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from late Saturday
  night through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
  humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight low temperatures will fall no lower
  than the mid to upper 70s, providing limited relief from the heat.
