This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Thunderstorm chances will continue across the entire outlook area
today and tonight, with the overall best chances looking to be
this afternoon into the early evening. Severe weather is
currently not anticipated, but some storms will have the potential
to be strong, with heavy rain, gusty winds, and small hail being
the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast across the outlook
area as we get into the new week, mainly Sunday and Monday, then
more scattered chances returning Wednesday evening through
Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected through tonight, but reports
of heavy rain, hail, or wind are always appreciated.

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Rainfall coverage will become more widespread today, creating the
potential for flooding concerns for areas mainly south of Interstate
70 and east of Highway 25 in Western Kansas due to the recent
rainfall already received.

There is a small chance for a strong thunderstorm or two this
afternoon, especially along a Wray to Russell Springs line. While you
should remain aware of the possibility, chances appear low at this
time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

There will be a continued risk for flooding from heavy rainfall with
storms each day. Locations that have received multiple rounds of
heavy rainfall or flash flooding recently should keep a heightened
awareness of the weather situation, especially for areas that are
already flood prone.

There is a chance for spotty, weak thunderstorms again this
afternoon and evening. The primary threats are heavy downpours,
small hail, and wind gusts near 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Spotty thunderstorms remain in the forecast every day through at
least Tuesday. Widespread severe weather is not anticipated, but
some of the storms could be strong during the afternoons and
evenings.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will affect western and north
central Nebraska through late this evening. The risk of severe hail
and wind is low, although some storms will be capable of producing
very heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through the
forecast area Sunday and Monday as well. The risk for severe weather
is low at this time.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy
rainfall are expected today, with the highest chances this afternoon.
Minor lowland flooding will be the main threat. A locally strong
storm with gusty winds and small hail will also be possible. Severe
weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Periodic hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms are possible across
the region Sunday through Friday, especially during the afternoon
hours. Organized severe weather is unlikely.
