...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the
  following county, Mesa.

* WHEN...Until 715 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 545 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grand Junction, Fruita, Orchard Mesa, Fruitvale, Clifton and
    Redlands.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Arizona, including the following
  county, Apache.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM MST /830 PM MDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is
  imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 430 PM MST /530 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and
    2 inches of rain have fallen in the past two hours and more
    storms are developing over the same area.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Milky Wash, Beaver Dam Wash, Hardscrabble Wash, Seven Springs
    Wash, Morgan Canyon and Ninemile Wash.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Navajo Reservation.
  - This includes Highway 191 161 between mile markers 358 and
    359.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following
  county, north central Weld.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 506 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grover and Hereford.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and
other low lying areas.
