This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Widespread precipitation will come to an end today, but rain and
snow showers will linger over the central and northern Colorado
mountains. An additional 2-4 inches is possible over the central
ranges, with lesser amounts elsewhere.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Mountain showers will again be possible Tuesday afternoon, however
they will be widely scattered and have limited impact. High pressure
builds in for the second half of the week, bringing warmer and drier
conditions. The desert valleys could see their first 90F day during
this period.

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.

Patchy frost will be possible overnight into early Tuesday
morning across northern El Paso County, as skies clear and winds
diminish behind todays passing weather system. Care should be
taken to protect any tender outdoor vegetation across northern El
Paso County.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Isolated late afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible
over the eastern plains Thursday and Friday, then slightly better
chances for storms spread across the mountains and plains over
the weekend.

Scattered showers and just a couple thunderstorms can be expected
across the area this afternoon and early evening. Most precipitation
amounts will be light and no severe storms are anticipated.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Somewhat drier and warmer weather will prevail through the rest
of the week, with mainly isolated coverage of afternoon showers
and thunderstorms. Storm coverage and intensity could see a pickup
by this weekend, but overall the threat of severe storms is
relatively low.

WIND RIVER RANGES UNTIL 12 AM MDT TUESDAY...
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered showers across much of the state especially east of the
Divide throughout the day today. Portions of Johnson and Natrona
Counties may see periods of moderate to heavy rainfall today. Snow is
and will continue to fall across parts of the Wind River and Bighorn
Ranges mainly above 8000 feet. Snow amounts in these locations are
expected to range from 3 to 9 inches. Precipitation will gradually
dissipate through the evening as the system pulls away from the area.
Winds will be gusty at times with periodic gusts of 30 to 40 mph with
stronger gusts in usual wind prone locations.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday and Wednesday...A chance of showers and thunderstorms in
central/northern Wyoming.
Thursday through Sunday...Daily chances for showers and thunderstorms
with the potential for a more impactful system over the weekend.
