for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels is in effect
from Thursday morning through Thursday evening. The Fire Weather
Watch is no longer in effect.

  Colorado Lower Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 291 Northern
  San Juan Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 292 North Fork

MDT WEDNESDAY FOR DRY AND WIND CONDITIONS...

* WIND...West to southwest winds 15 to 30 MPH with gusts up to
  45 MPH.

* HUMIDITY...8 to 12 percent. Overnight recoveries as low as 35
  percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dry lightning will be possible on
  Tuesday with isolated storms during the afternoon and evening
  hours.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for gusty winds and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 222, 228 and 229.

* TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, from noon today to 7 PM MDT
  this evening. For the first Fire Weather Watch, from Tuesday
  afternoon through Tuesday evening. For the second Fire Weather
  Watch, from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 6 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Up to 100.

* Lightning...

* IMPACTS...Elevated fire danger is expected. Fires will catch
  and spread rapidly and erratically.

MONDAY TO 8 PM MST /9 PM MDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph and
  relative humidity 8 to 14 percent. Winds will decrease to 5 to 15
  mph for a period Monday night before increasing again Tuesday
  morning.

* WHERE...Kaibab Plateau, Marble and Glen Canyons, Grand Canyon
  Country, Coconino Plateau, Navajo Nation in Arizona, Little
  Colorado River Valley, and the Mogollon Rim. This includes portions
  of the Apache-Sitgreaves, Coconino, and Kaibab national forests.

* WHEN...From 10 AM MST /11 AM MDT/ Monday to 8 PM MST /9 PM MDT/
  Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Rapid spread and growth of any new or existing fires.
  Fires will have the potential to exhibit extreme fire behavior.
  Elevated potential for new fire starts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do your part: No open flames or sparks, keep vehicles off of dry
grass, properly dispose of cigarette butts, and avoid power equipment
that creates sparks. One less spark, one less wildfire.

Obey all fire restrictions. To view a map of current fire
restrictions, go to wildlandfire.az.gov/fire-restrictions.

A Red Flag Warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that
promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This
does not mean there is a fire. These conditions are either occurring
now or will begin soon. It is important to have multiple ways to
receive information from authorities.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the field of
this Red Flag Warning.
