...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and west central
  Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas, Rush.
  In south central Kansas, Pawnee. In west central Kansas, Ness.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many
  areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1121 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    training thunderstorms. Flooding is likely occurring in the
    warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen based
    on radar estimates
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
    warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    La Crosse, Otis, Bison, Rush Center, Timken, Nekoma and
    Shaffer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
