This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Hotter temperatures remain through the week, with consecutive days
of highs in the upper 90s to low 100s. Heat indices on Friday and
Saturday will approach the 100 to 105 degree range across north
central Nebraska. Those sensitive to excessive heat should continue
to monitor later forecasts and headlines for additional details.
Hot, dry, & windy conditions may lead to a return of near critical
fire weather conditions this week especially across the Sandhills and
Panhandle.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Isolated thunderstorms will develop over the higher terrain this
afternoon, with the greatest chance of a storm over the eastern San
Juan Mountains. Most storm activity will produce gusty winds and
lightning, but only light rainfall. Storms will then quickly
diminish this evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Isolated afternoon thunderstorms will continue Tuesday and Wednesday
over the mountains, with again the best chance for storms over and
near the Continental Divide. Moisture will slowly increase over the
western half of Colorado from Thursday into the weekend, with a
gradual upturn in storm strength and coverage, especially over the
weekend. Measurable rainfall is beginning to look likely over much
of the Continental Divide this period, while precipitation farther
east over most interior valleys and the eastern mountains looks only
light and spotty.
