This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
Scattered thunderstorms anticipated to develop in northeast Colorado
late Thursday afternoon will slowly track eastward into adjacent
portions of Kansas and Nebraska Thursday evening. A few severe
storms capable of producing ping pong ball size hail and wind gusts
in excess of 60 mph are possible. Outflow from storms may lead to
some blowing dust reducing visibility to less than one mile creating
hazardous travel conditions and air quality.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
Another round of strong to severe storms are forecast Friday
afternoon and into the evening. Storms are forecast to begin discrete
with large hail and damaging winds the main threat before congealing
into a cluster with damaging winds the primary threat during the
evening hours.
Late afternoon and evening storms are possible each day through the
weekend. Large hail and damaging winds look to continue to the
primary threats each day.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for parts of south central
Nebraska, mainly north and west of a Silver Creek to Grand Island
to Beaver City line.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this evening and
overnight. While a few of these storms may be on the stronger
side, with small hail and gusty winds, severe weather is not
anticipated.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
In general, there are small chances for showers and thunderstorms
during the late afternoon, evening and overnight hours through
the forecast period. The specifics of storm location and
intensity are not clear at this time, though there is likely some
risk for marginally strong or severe thunderstorms for just about
any location with any given storm. However, the overall risk for
significant severe weather impacts appears low.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
Isolated thunderstorms across the mountains and far eastern
plains will come to an end this evening. Brief light to moderate
rainfall, wind gusts up to 40 mph and lightning will be the
primary risk before they diminish by midnight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Isolated to scattered afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms will continue through the end of the work week.
The main threats from thunderstorms during this period will be
lightning and gusty outflow winds up to 50 mph. A few stronger
storms producing winds to around 60 mph, small hail and brief
heavy rainfall may also occur across the southeast plains. The
greatest chance for marginally severe storms will be Thursday
over all of the Plains, and on Friday over the far eastern
Plains.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Thunderstorms are possible across western and north central Nebraska
tonight. Though the overall threat for severe storms is low, a
strong storm or two is possible mainly south of a line from Antioch
to Bartlett. Gusty winds and hail up to quarter size is possible in
these areas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms on Thursday across
all of western and north central Nebraska, with wind and hail being
the primary concerns.
A Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms is expected on Friday across
western into southwestern Nebraska, with wind and hail being the
primary concerns.
There is a near daily chance for showers and thunderstorms this
weekend into early next week. However, the severe threat is
uncertain at this time.

Colorado.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon will bring
gusty winds, with speeds reaching up to 50 mph. Rainfall amounts
will mostly be light.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected again
Thursday and Friday. Some stronger to severe storms will be
possible over the northeast plains Friday afternoon. For the
weekend, the chance for storms is limited to the eastern plains.
