...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CHST TUESDAY...
...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Hazardous surf of 9 to 12 feet and dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Along east facing reefs of Tinian and Saipan.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 6 AM ChST Tuesday.
  For the High Rip Current Risk, through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous conditions for swimmers and beach goers.
  Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore
  into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid venturing out near reef lines facing east. Large breaking
waves can knock you down and cause serious injuries. Very strong
rip currents will be life threatening.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

INEXPERIENCED MARINERS, ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
