...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding
of 1 to 3 feet. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves
of 9 to 13 feet in the surf zone. For the High Rip Current Risk,
dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, south and west facing
reefs. For the High Surf Advisory, south, west and north facing
reefs. For the High Rip Current Risk, south, west and north
facing reefs.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 6 PM ChST.
For the High Surf Advisory, until 6PM ChST along north and south
facing reefs, and until 6 PM ChST Tuesday along west facing reefs.
For the High Rip Current Risk, through this afternoon along north
and south facing reefs, and through Tuesday afternoon along west
facing reefs.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated
road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions
and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
