...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CHST THIS
AFTERNOON...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet and dangerous rip
  currents.

* WHERE...North, east, and south facing reefs of the Marianas.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized
beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated trade-wind swell is expected to
produce hazardous surf along north, east, and south facing reefs
through this afternoon. Seas and swells gradually diminish starting
tonight, however, it is possible that a high risk of rip currents
may persist along east-facing reefs through early next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers
should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.

Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
