...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Hoosic River at Eagle Bridge.

* WHEN...From late tonight to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flood stage. Water on County Route 103
  between Route 67 and the covered bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Fulton and
  Montgomery Counties in New York.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
  take several hours for all the water from these storms to work
  through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates that between 2 and 5
    inches of rain have fallen in the warned area. Flooding is
    ongoing.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area through tonight.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Saratoga Springs, Amsterdam, Mechanicville, Glenville,
    Milton, Ballston Spa, Grafton, Broadalbin, Hagaman, Round
    Lake, Fort Johnson, Galway, Burnt Hills, North Ballston Spa,
    Rock City Falls, Country Knolls, East Glenville, Rotterdam
    Junction, Pattersonville-Rotterdam Junction and Center
    Brunswick.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

    ongoing.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area through tonight.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Cohoes,
    Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Latham, Delmar, Guilderland,
    Niskayuna, Menands, Green Island, Waterford, Loudonville,
    East Glenville, Halfmoon and Verdoy.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central New York, including the
  following counties, Columbia, Greene and Rensselaer.

* WHEN...Until 515 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to
  excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are
  inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 519 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
    is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
    Between 5 and 11 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Troy, East Greenbush, Rensselaer, Hudson, Chatham, Nassau,
    Claverack, New Baltimore, Coxsackie, Valatie, Athens,
    Castleton-On-Hudson, Philmont, Kinderhook, Lorenz Park,
    Claverack-Red Mills, West Sand Lake, Averill Park,
    Wynantskill and Wyantskill.
