...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM PDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, particularly for high profile
  vehicles. Blowing dust will reduce visibilities at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to, Highway 14, Highway 58 below Tehachapi Pass, and
  Highway 178 below Walker Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

  expected.

* WHERE...Interstate 5 Corridor and Western Antelope Valley
  Foothills.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 3 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
