...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of North Mississippi, including the following
  county, Tishomingo.

* WHEN...Until 145 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1045 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    Iuka due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Iuka and Burnsville are the most likely places to experience
    minor flooding. Flooding impacts will continue, but no
    additional rainfall is expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Iuka, Burnsville, Midway, Blythe Crossing, Hazard Switch,
    Oldham and Walker Siding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
