A Fire Danger Statement is in effect for northeastern Georgia
through this evening. Please use caution if doing any outdoor
burning and consult with local authorities for any restrictions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday...
Confidence in an Arctic air mass impacting the Eastern U.S. early
next week is high. Wind chills in the single digits or teens may
develop in north and central Georgia Monday or Tuesday.
A winter storm may impact north and central Georgia next week,
though uncertainty remains high on exactly when, what, or how
much. Current probabilities of winter weather are between 20-40%
across the state. Please continue to monitor for future updates.
