...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS...

* WINDS...Northerly at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph
  (today). Southerly at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 25 to 35
  mph (Wednesday).

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 to 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor
  burning is not recommended.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...North Central Kansas Locations outside of
  the warning will still be expected to reach elevated to near-
  critical fire weather conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
