...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN LEWIS AND
SOUTHERN SCIOTO COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits
and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been
cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northeastern Kentucky...and south central Ohio.

Please report previous wind damage or hail to the National Weather
Service by going to our website at weather.gov/iln and submitting
your report via social media.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT
FOR BOYD...GREENUP...NORTHEASTERN CARTER...SOUTHERN LAWRENCE...WEST
CENTRAL CABELL AND NORTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTIES...

At 536 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Oldtown, or 8
miles north of Grayson, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Ashland, Ironton, Grayson, Coal Grove, Chesapeake,
Cannonsburg, Lake Vesuvius, Kenova, Catlettsburg, Ceredo, Greenup,
Princess, Coalton, Burnaugh, Greenbo Lake, Oldtown, Naples, Rush, and
Load.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN POWELL...MONTGOMERY...SOUTHERN BATH AND WESTERN MENIFEE
COUNTIES...

At 531 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Gatewoods Station, or near Mount Sterling, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
  Jeffersonville, Cedar Groves, Frenchburg and Tabor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
