  Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Brown, Cass, Morgan and
  Schuyler Counties.

.The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along this river need to remain aware of the
latest forecasts and associated flood risk for their area. Stay
tuned for further updates on this flooding situation.

  Drainage and Levee District.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:45 AM CDT Thursday was 17.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 15.5 feet
    Thursday, July 16.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

  protected by levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.8 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:45 AM CDT Thursday was 19.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Saturday morning and continue falling to 15.4 feet Thursday,
    July 16.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Patoka River near Princeton.

.The Patoka River near Princeton is forecast to keep falling. It will
fall into minor flood stage tomorrow, and eventually fall below flood
stage by next Wednesday, July 15th.

For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding affects mainly farmland. Seasonal
  camping trailers closest to the river become inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday evening and continue falling to 14.7 feet Sunday, July
    19.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
