This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong winds are expected Today and tonight gusting to between 45
and 60 mph across the area. The highest gusts will occur towards
Lake Michigan. Power outages are very possible with this magnitude
of wind.

Snow showers will commence this morning towards the middle to end
of the morning commute. The heaviest snow will occur this
afternoon and evening. The combination of falling snow and strong
winds will cause near whiteout conditions at times. Those
traveling Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day should be prepared to
encounter winter travel conditions across Western Lower Michigan.
Travel will be slowed and slippery conditions will develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Periods of lake effect snow are expected through Thursday into
early Friday.
 Another accumulating snow event is possible for Saturday into
Sunday. Many areas may see accumulations of at least 3 inches.

a dusting to 3 inches possible by Thursday afternoon, with locally
higher amounts possible in the Thumb.

There is a chance for accumulating snowfall Saturday night into
Sunday as a low pressure system tracks across Lower Michigan.

knots. A Gale Warning is in effect for this area after the Storm
Warning expires, for northwest gales to 45 knots.

A Gale Warning is in effect across the northern third of the open
waters into tonight, for west to northwest gales to 45 knots.

High waves are expected during this period, especially over the
eastern portions of Lake Michigan.

A Gale Warning is in effect into Thursday night and early Friday
morning, for northwest gales to 45 knots.
