...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 AM CDT MONDAY...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following
counties, Dallas, Lowndes and Montgomery.
* WHEN...Until 345 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1144 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Montgomery, Mosses, Hayneville, Coosada, White Hall,
Gordonville, Lowndesboro, Benton, Beechwood, Tyler, Belknap,
Dallas Lake, Dannelly Field, Hunter, Woodcrest, Hope Hull,
Maxwell Air Force Base, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Dannelly
Reservoir and Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 1107 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of moderate
rain continuing to move over areas effected earlier by heavy
rains due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding remains ongoing in
the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Thomasville, Camden, Pine Hill, Silas, Fulton, Gilbertown,
Yellow Bluff, Toxey, Tallahatta Springs, Glover, Springfield,
Rural, Campbell, Chilton, Roundhill, McEntyre, Morvin,
Failetown, Greenwood and Finley Crossing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

- At 934 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...

in the Buck Lake and Flower Lake areas are flooded. South
evacuation road from Bordeaux Island is flooded. In Arkansas, the
road to the fields inside the levee south of Horseshoe Lake are
covered.

- At 7:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.6
feet Tuesday, April 04.

camps south of Hopefield Chute is cut off. Water is lapping at the
levee near Sulcer Road west of South Lake. River is touching the
levee at Blue Lake.

- At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.1
feet Monday, April 03.
