* WHAT...East winds 20 to 25 kt with a few gusts up to 35 kt.
  Waves of 3 to 5 feet in the tidal lakes and sounds and seas of 6
  to 9 ft in the open Gulf waters.

* WHERE...Lake Borgne, Mississippi Sound, Breton Sound,
  Chandeleur Sound, and all of the open Gulf waters east of the
  Mississippi River.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
