.NOW...
Through 1100 pm, scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms will
move east to southeastward near 15 mph across the near and offshore
waters surrounding the Florid Keys. Most of this activity will be
concentrated on the near through offshore waters Gulf side of the
Lower and Middle Keys. The stronger activity will be capable of
occasionally frequent lightning strikes, wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph,
and blinding downpours. Island locations near Marathon will be most
likely to be affected, and receive an additional one quarter to three
quarters of an inch of rain.
