...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING
TO 10 AM EST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with
  gusts up to 45 mph expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, Very
  cold wind chills as low as the low to mid 20s expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Broward County, Coastal Miami Dade County, Far
  South Miami-Dade County, Metro Broward County, Metropolitan Miami
  Dade, Coastal Collier County, and Mainland Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST
  Sunday. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to
  10 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Wind
  chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Very
  cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Secure outdoor objects.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

If you do not have heat in your home or lack shelter, you can call
211 for metro Collier County and 311 for metro Miami-Dade/Broward
County.

  the upper 20s to lower 30s expected. Apparent temperatures as low
  as the low to mid 20s.

* WHERE...Inland Broward County, Inland Miami-Dade County, and
  Inland Collier County Counties.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 7 AM EST
  Sunday. For the Freeze Warning and Cold Weather Advisory, from 10
  PM this evening to 10 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Wind
  chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
  Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive
  vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Secure outdoor objects.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
