This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are likely to move in from
the west as early as late this afternoon but likely not until the
early evening. Damaging winds, large hail, and a tornado or two
cannot be ruled out. Folks should have a reliable source for weather
alerts if you have outdoor plans Friday.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are again possible each day
Saturday and Sunday mainly for much of the Sandhills into north
central Nebraska. At this time, the main concerns are large hail and
damaging winds.
Daytime temperatures with return to the lower to middle 90s for areas
south of Interstate 80 Saturday through Monday. At this time, heat
indices are expected to only reach the middle 90s.
The potential for rain and thunderstorms continues daily Monday
through Thursday. At this time, the threat for severe weather is
uncertain though the threat for heavy rainfall will need monitored,
particularly Tuesday into Wednesday.

Highway 83.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible for areas
mainly along and southwest of a line from Kearney, Nebraska to
Beloit, Kansas during the overnight hours. Storms will be capable
of producing gusts to 60mph.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
There remains several chances for mostly evening and overnight
thunderstorms through next Wednesday. Tuesday appears to have the
best chance for more widespread thunderstorm activity. At this
time is too early to pinpoint the severe potential for any
particular period, but there will be some risk of strong to
possibly severe storms for some areas.

Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

Showers and storms are possible this afternoon along and east of
I-29. Severe weather is not expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday night
though details are uncertain. Unsettled weather pattern continues
Sunday through next week, leading to periods of showers and
thunderstorms. Guidance indicates strong to severe storms and locally
heavy rainfall are possible, although details remain uncertain.

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
Fog is forecast to develop mainly along and south of Interstate 70
Friday morning. Dense fog may be possible which would lead to
hazardous travel conditions for the morning commute. Any fog is
forecast to dissipate by mid morning.
Another round of strong to severe storms are forecast Friday
afternoon and into the evening. Large hail up to two inches and
damaging winds up to 70 mph are possible, the wind threat may last
into the late evening. There is also a 20% chance blowing dust will
reduce visibility to less than one mile creating hazardous travel
conditions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
Late afternoon and evening storms are possible each day through the
weekend. Large hail and damaging winds look to continue to the
primary threats each day.

There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and
early evening east of a Douglas to Cheyenne line, with a marginal
risk of severe thunderstorms east of a Riverton to Laramie line.
Scattered thunderstorms will occur this afternoon and early
evening, with some of the storms likely becoming strong to severe
in the marginal and slight risk areas, producing large hail,
damaging winds and heavy rain.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon will bring
gusty winds, with speeds reaching up to 50 mph. A few storms could
become severe with 60 mph winds. Over the northeast corner of
Colorado, one inch hail may occur with the severe thunderstorms as
well.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected again
Friday. Some strong to severe storms will be possible over the
northeast plains Friday afternoon. For the weekend, the chance for
storms is limited to the northeastern plain. Where a severe storm
or two will be possible.
