...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN
NATCHITOCHES...SOUTHEASTERN DE SOTO...RED RIVER...NORTHWESTERN LA
SALLE...SOUTHERN JACKSON...NORTH CENTRAL GRANT...SOUTHERN BIENVILLE
AND WINN PARISHES UNTIL 1215 AM CDT...

At 1117 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 7 miles east of Jonesboro to 12 miles
southwest of Ringgold, or extending from 7 miles east of Jonesboro to
20 miles northeast of Mansfield, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Natchitoches, Winnfield, Jonesboro, Coushatta, Campti, Allen,
  Martin, Clarence, Goldonna, Tullos, Dodson, Hall Summit, Saline,
  Lucky, Ashland, Calvin, Edgefield, Atlanta, Powhatan and Sikes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
