This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Thunderstorms are possible this evening and overnight. Confidence in
thunderstorms remains low, but any storm that develops could be
severe with large hail and locally gusty winds.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Severe thunderstorms are possible late Friday afternoon into Friday
night. All severe hazards are possible, including damaging winds,
very large hail, and tornadoes, some of which could be strong.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters may be needed to report severe weather tonight. Spotter
activation is also likely for Friday and Friday night.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Storms this evening and tonight will move from west to east at 55 to
65 mph.
Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving. Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected Friday and Friday
night, with an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms during this
time. The greatest severe weather risk is Friday evening into the
overnight. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary concerns,
but isolated tornadoes are also possible. Excessive rainfall could
also lead to localized flooding. A few thunderstorms could linger
early Saturday in southeast Kentucky.
Thunderstorms are also possible at times late Sunday night through
Wednesday.

Heavy downpours and lightning will be threats from any storm.
Storm motion will be to the east-northeast at 40 to 50 mph.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Scattered to numerous strong to severe thunderstorms are expected
Friday afternoon and evening. All modes of severe weather are
possible. Heavy downpours and lightning will be threats from any
storm.
Additional thunderstorms are possible next Monday through Wednesday.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...Tonight
There is a chance for thunderstorms after midnight tonight, some
of which may be severe. Large hail is likely the greatest threat,
but damaging winds are possible as well.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
A more substantial risk for severe thunderstorms exists Friday
afternoon into Friday evening. Supercells with a large hail and
tornado risk may then form into a large complex of storms with a
significant damaging wind threat.
Additional storms are expected from Sunday night through Wednesday
with severe weather possible especially on Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east
central Illinois and southeast Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
A conditional risk for significant severe storms exists this
evening. All severe weather hazards including large hail exceeding 2
inches in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts exceeding 60 mph, and a
tornado will be possible. The risk of severe storms should come to an
end by 10 PM.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
An additional risk for significant severe storms exists Friday
afternoon across central and southeast Illinois. All severe weather
hazards including large hail exceeding 2 inches in diameter,
thunderstorm wind gusts exceeding 75 mph, strong tornadoes, and
isolated flash flooding are all possible.
The risk for severe weather then returns on Tuesday as a frontal
system lifts across the region.

Spotter activation may be needed between 5 PM and 10 PM this evening.
Spotter activation will also likely be needed Friday afternoon.
Expected storm motion this evening is toward the northeast around 50 mph.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms are expected to
move in later tonight, and a few storms may be strong to severe as
they move in mainly across the Cumberland Plateau and southwest
Virginia. Damaging winds and large hail will be the main threats.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
A few strong to severe storms are possible during the day on
Friday but low confidence in storm development. Higher confidence
exists for strong to severe storms to occur Friday night into
Saturday morning. Damaging straight line winds up to 70 mph and large
hail up to 1.5" are the primary threats. However, an isolated
tornado or two are also possible.
Isolated strong to severe storms will remain possible across the
southern Plateau and southeast Tennessee for Sunday and Monday,
and area-wide Tuesday. Strong damaging winds will be the main
concern.
A more widespread outbreak of severe storms are possible for
Wednesday with damaging winds and hail. There is a good deal of
uncertainty of the extent and timing of these thunderstorms.
