This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms will again be possible this afternoon and
evening. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and cloud to ground
lightning will be the main threats with the strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected each afternoon and evening.
These storms will be capable of producing lightning, localized gusty
damaging winds, and brief heavy rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Storms are expected to move from west to east at 10 to 15 mph this
afternoon and evening.

Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving.  Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.

Patchy fog is expected to develop overnight with locally dense fog
possible through early Tuesday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Several rounds of showers and storms are expected Wednesday through
Sunday. These repeated episodes of heavy rain may lead to instances
of flash flooding.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected into early this
evening. A storm or two may briefly become strong to severe with
gusty to damaging winds the main threat. Torrential rainfall will
accompany any storms and flash flooding may develop where any
storms persist.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected each afternoon
through Monday. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible and
all storms will be capable of brief torrential rainfall.

Afternoon heat indices will climb into the 100 to 105 degree range
throughout the Quad State Wednesday through Saturday

An isolated thunderstorm is possible south of I-70 overnight with
cloud to ground lightning strikes a risk.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Hot and humid conditions will push heat index values into the 90s
most afternoons through this weekend. Heat indices will be near 100
degrees Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and again Saturday and
Sunday afternoon.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected Tuesday through
Thursday evening and again Saturday through Sunday, with locally
heavy rainfall possible along with cloud to ground lightning strikes.
A few storms could be strong with gusty winds on Wednesday evening
and Thursday afternoon.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and isolated flooding are possible.

Heat Index values in the upper 90s to low 100s are expected
through much of the week throughout the East Tennessee Valley.
