increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Black River near Annapolis.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Black River near Annapolis.

* WHEN...From Friday evening to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, One house on Circle Drive in Lesterville
  will flood near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 4.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 4.6 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall to 4.4 feet tomorrow evening. It will rise
    above flood stage late Friday evening to 20.0 feet early
    Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Sunday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 19.7 feet, Mayflower Road...just north of U.S. Route
  50...begins to flood.
  At 22.0 feet, North Clay Road...1 mile east of the gage is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Thursday morning and continue rising to a crest of 20.9 feet
    early Friday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

...The National Weather Service in Paducah KY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Skillet Fork River at Wayne City.

.The first round of what will be many repeat rounds of heavy rain
heading into next weekend will be incoming soon. The heavy rain is
forecast to cause the Skillet Fork River to rise above flood stage
at Wayne City later this week.

For the Skillet Fork River...including Wayne City...Minor flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Skillet Fork River at Wayne City.

* WHEN...From late Thursday night to late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
  bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Friday morning to a crest of 16.7 feet early Saturday
    morning. Additional rises with more rainfall are possible.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.7 feet on 12/23/2013.

Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Little Wabash River at Carmi.

.The first round of what will be many repeat rounds of heavy rain
heading into next weekend will be incoming soon. The heavy rain will
fall in the Wabash River basin and this is forecast to cause the
Little Wabash River to rise above flood stage at Carmi later this
week.

For the Little Wabash River...including Carmi...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Flood waters flow up McHenry slough and
  areas near Route 1 and 14 in Carmi begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Thursday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 33.3
    feet Sunday evening. Additional rises with more rainfall are
    possible.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    33.5 feet on 03/03/2018.
