...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches with
  locally higher amounts possible across the southern Sangre De
  Cristo mountains.

* WHERE...Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains Between 8500 and 11000
  Feet and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains Between 7500 and
  11000 Feet.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads will be slick and hazardous at times, especially
  this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will fall this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Wet snow. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches below
  10,000 feet and 6 to 12 inches above 10,000 feet.

* WHERE...Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

* WHEN...Until noon MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be
  reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
  in front of you.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The weight of heavy wet snow may break tree
  limbs and lead to power outages. Slick travel is expected along
  State Road 38 through Bobcat Pass. Roadways leading into Taos Ski
  Valley may also become slick.
