Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

A River Flood Warning is in effect for the Potomac River upstream
of Washington DC. A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for
Georgetown due to freshwater flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
The River Flood Warning and Coastal Flood Warning continue into
Friday.
Severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail are possible Friday afternoon into Friday night.
Another round of severe thunderstorms capable of producing
damaging winds and large hail is possible Saturday afternoon.
However, confidence in timing and coverage is low at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Kentucky, southeast
Ohio, southwest Virginia and much of West Virginia.

Strong to severe storms are possible late tonight into early Friday
morning, the main threats will be damaging winds and large hail.
There is a chance for an isolated tornado, primarily farther west.
Localized flash flooding could be possible with any heavier downpours
or training thunderstorms, particularly in already saturated areas.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Severe thunderstorms are expected across the forecast area tomorrow,
becoming scattered to numerous later in the afternoon into the evening.
Damaging wind gusts and large hail. The risk for tornadoes will also
exist, but will be a lower chance compared to the other hazards.
Flash flooding will also be possible with the thunderstorms tomorrow,
especially in storms with high rainfall rates or storms that train
over specific locations.
