Isolated showers and thunderstorms may develop late tonight across
far northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas. Severe weather
is not expected.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Gusty south winds will prevail Thursday into early next week,
leading to an increase in low level moisture. An unsettled weather
pattern will develop, with near daily shower and thunderstorm
chances. The best chance for severe weather along with locally
heavy rainfall looks to be around Monday as a cold front moves
into the area.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon due
to low humidity, breezy north to northwest winds and ongoing
drought conditions.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible late Thursday
night into Friday morning. Severe storms are not expected.
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible late Friday night
into Saturday. Severe storms are not expected.
Increasing chances of thunderstorms are forecast late Monday into
Tuesday. There is some potential for strong to severe storms
Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited lightning risk.
DISCUSSION...
There is a 10 to 20% chance for an isolated thunderstorm along
and west of the Interstate 49 corridor late tonight into early
Thursday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Well above normal temperatures are expected late this week into
the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Low chances, 10 to 35 percent, for showers and storms will occur
at times from Wednesday night through the weekend ahead of a cold
front there will be extended dry periods during this time. The
front will then move through the region early next week bringing
better shower and thunderstorm chances, 50 to 70 percent, to the
area. If you have outdoor plans this weekend, be sure to keep up
with the latest forecast.
