...TROPICAL STORM WARNING IN EFFECT...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt and
  seas 18 to 23 ft across the coastal waters.

* WHERE...The coastal waters from Duck to Surf City, and portions
  of Croatan, Roanoke and Pamlico Sounds.

* WHEN...Tropical Storm force winds possible from Wednesday
  afternoon until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds and hazardous seas will
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
