This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this morning into early this
afternoon. Cloud to ground lightning and large hail to the size
of quarters are possible.

The risk for severe storms will be greatest from mid afternoon to
mid evening, especially for areas along and south of the Interstate
94 corridor. Large hail to the size of golf balls, damaging wind
gusts to 70 mph and a few tornadoes are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Light snow is expected late tonight through Saturday morning,
with minor accumulation up to an inch along and northwest of a
line from Lone Rock to Port Washington.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely across central and
east-central Wisconsin this afternoon into this evening. The
strongest storms could produce hail to around 1 inch in diameter.

Rain will change to snow from northwest to southeast tonight.
Snow accumulations of six to fourteen inches are possible across
northern Wisconsin, especially north of a Wausau to Marinette
line. Strong northerly winds may gust over 40 mph late tonight,
which could create blowing and drifting snow, and knock down some
trees branches and power lines. Very difficult travel conditions
are likely tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Light snow over eastern Wisconsin should end by midday Saturday.
Strong northerly winds are expected to continue to gust over 40
mph into Saturday afternoon, which could create blowing and
drifting snow. Very difficult travel conditions are possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to forward snow and ice measurements to the
National Weather Service in Green Bay. Reports of hail will also
be appreciated.

Periods of showers and thunderstorms will continue today with a
few stronger storms this afternoon possible toward I90. The rain
will change to snow tonight, at times heavy. The snow will be
accompanied by gusty winds reducing visibilities.

A winter storm warning is in effect tonight through Saturday

Runoff from widespread rainfall and melting of snow will lead to
river rises into this weekend with river flooding is possible.

Another strong spring storm system is expected Tuesday into
Wednesday. It is too early to determine the potential winter and

Spotter activation may be needed toward I90 this afternoon. Snow

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Minnesota...central Wisconsin...
southwest Wisconsin and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A potent spring storm system will bring a variety of weather
including strong to severe storms, heavy rainfall, heavy snow,
and strong winds.

Severe storms are growing increasingly likely south of Interstate
90 this afternoon and early evening with damaging winds, large
hail and isolated tornadoes all possible.

Snow is likely as the storm exits the area tonight with a few
inches possible, higher near and north of I-90. Visibilities will
be reduced with the falling snow and wind. Slippery roads will be
possible where roads become snow covered.  Shifts in the storm
track and timing of change over from rain to snow will affect how
much snow falls. Check in on later forecasts for updates on how
much to expect.

Finally, strong winds are expected tonight into Saturday morning,
gusting from 35 to 45 mph. The winds could drift some of the
snow.

DISCUSSION...

A robust early spring storm system will track across the
Midwest and into the Great Lakes region today. A significant
severe threat exists across the area this afternoon through mid
evening. All severe weather hazards are possible, including
significant damaging winds and strong tornadoes. Stay up to date
with the latest forecast information.

A period of strong non-thunderstorm winds to around 50 mph is
expected late this afternoon and into Saturday morning. At this
time, the strongest winds are favored to be south of I-80.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east

Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

The Storm Prediction Center has a Moderate Risk, or level 4 out
of 5, for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The
main hazards will be damaging straight line winds of 75 mph,
tornadoes, and large hail. Some of the tornadoes could be strong.

The thunderstorms will be very fast moving, from southwest to
northeast at 60 mph.

Before the storms arrive, a very high grassland fire danger is
forecast due to the warm temperatures and strong winds. Any fires
that occur may be difficult to control and burning should be
avoided today.

Strong gradient southwest winds are expected this afternoon and
tonight with gusts up to 50 mph. A wind advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Strong northwest winds gusting up to 50 mph will continue through
much of Saturday morning.
