Coffeeville Dam, Leroy...Minor flooding is forecast.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TOMORROW AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Coffeeville Dam.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, pastureland is flooded. Livestock should
be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river begins to
flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 AM CDT Thursday was 29.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.6
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

SATURDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening to late Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and
pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to
higher ground. Water approaches low lying roads on west side of
river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow evening to a crest of 24.3 feet Friday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

forecast.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning to Thursday, June 19.
* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river
will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be
inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Sunday morning to a crest of 19.0 feet early Tuesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday, June
19.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
