...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Dakota...

  North Fork Whetstone River near Milbank affecting Grant County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes
precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation
could affect the forecasts.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHERE...North Fork Whetstone River near Milbank.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 1060.0 feet, water reaches the bottom of the bridges
  on 145th Street and 480th Avenue.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 1058.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:15 AM CDT Saturday was 1058.3 feet.
  - Flood stage is 1056.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of west central Minnesota, including the
  following county, Big Stone and northeast South Dakota, including
  the following county, Roberts.

* WHEN...Until 915 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
  crossings may be inundated with water and perhaps not passable.
  Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 905 AM CDT Friday, emergency management reported flooding
    in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sisseton, Agency Village, Browns Valley, Wilmot, Clinton,
    Peever, Peever Flats Housing, Yankeetown, Bonanza Grove,
    Dakota Connection & Casino, Finley Heights Housing, Big Stone
    Lake, Lake Traverse, Lismore Colony, Lagoona Beach and Lake
    Traverse Reservation.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Left bank below gage begins flooding.
  At 22.0 feet, Fields begin to flood

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Saturday was 21.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this afternoon and continue falling to 11.4 feet
    Saturday, June 21.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
