This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa and southwest
Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Northwest winds continue to gradually decrease this afternoon and
evening, becoming light.

Overnight temperatures will fall to the teens and 20s (north to
south), with wind chills making it feel like the single digits to
teens.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a chance for some patchy dense fog early Thursday morning
for areas along and north of Highway 14 and into southwestern
Minnesota. Fog should burn off by mid-morning.

Confidence is increasing in a potentially impactful winter storm
moving through the area Friday through Saturday. Accumulating snow is
expected with a High Probability (>70%) of at least 6 inches of snow
for areas east of I-29. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for
Friday afternoon through Saturday evening for counties in
southwestern Minnesota and northwestern Iowa. Adjustments to the area
of heaviest snowfall and amounts are still possible as details
emerge over the next 24 to 36 hours. However, with such a strong
signal for impactful snowfall now is the time to begin monitoring the
forecast and prepare. Especially if you have travel plans as they
may be delayed or become difficult.

This storm system will be followed by a stretch of even colder air,
with sub-zero nighttime wind chills early next week.

Iowa, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South
Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

City. As you continue east chances and amounts increase. West of
this line snow totals decrease rapidly. Adjustments to the area of
heaviest snowfall and amounts are still possible as details emerge
over the next 24 to 36 hours. However, with such a strong signal for
impactful snowfall now is the time to begin monitoring the forecast
and prepare. Especially if you have travel plans as they may be
delayed or become difficult.

This storm system will be followed by a stretch of even colder air,
with sub-zero nighttime wind chills early next week.

Breezy winds this afternoon will continue to diminish into the
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Impactful snow is forecast from later Friday afternoon and
evening through Saturday, and tapering off overnight Saturday to
early Sunday morning. Impacts to travel are likely.

always appreciated.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Gale Warnings continue across western Lake Superior through
tonight for northwest wind gusts of 35 to 45 kts. The highest
waves of 7 to 13 feet are expected along the South Shore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Northwest wind gusts of 25 to 30 kts will continue on Thursday,
and Small Craft Advisories are likely.

Another period of conditions hazardous to small craft arrives
Sunday into early next week as northwest winds increase.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

A Blizzard Warning continues for portions of the South Shore of
northwest Wisconsin through tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect into this evening for
portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin for
continued light snow and blowing snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

South Shore lake effect snow showers will continue on
Thanksgiving, with scattered snow showers elsewhere inland of
Lake Superior across northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.


Additional accumulating snow is expected Saturday and Saturday
night, especially across northwest Wisconsin and the Interstate 35
corridor of northeast Minnesota. There is a 60 percent chance of 2
inches or more of snowfall on Saturday.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.
