This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Wildfire smoke will lead to a degradation of air quality at times
this morning. An Air Quality Advisory has been issued through
noon.
Thunderstorms are possible at times late this afternoon and
tonight. The potential for any severe storms is currently low.
However, there is a possibility of heavy rain at times, especially
late tonight. The greatest risk for heavy rain is expected across
northern Wisconsin.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Thunderstorms are possible at times Friday and Saturday. The
potential for any severe storms is currently low. However, there
is a possibility of heavy rain at times, especially Friday and
Friday evening. The greatest risk for heavy rain is expected
across northern Wisconsin.
Thunderstorms are also possible early to the middle of next week.
It is too early to determine if any of the storms would become
severe.

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
An Air Quality Alert is in effect for portions of northeast
Minnesota and all of northwest Wisconsin tonight through Thursday
due to wildfire smoke.
Non-severe thunderstorms with areas of moderate to heavy rain are
likely into Friday. The heaviest rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is
expected south of Highway 2, where ponding of water on roadways is
possible and there is a 5 to 25 percent chance for flash flooding.
Increasing northeast winds and building waves will result in
hazardous swimming conditions along the beaches of Minnesota and
Wisconsin Point.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Some heavy rain may continue into Friday morning.
Strong northeast winds and high waves may result in hazardous
swimming conditions along the beaches of Minnesota and Wisconsin
Points Friday.
