...Gusty Winds Late Tonight and on Wednesday...

A large and potent late fall storm system will be moving through
the northern Ohio Valley late tonight and during the day,
Wednesday. As it passes by to our north, it will bring strong and
gusty south to southwest winds to eastern Kentucky starting late
tonight and last well into the day, Wednesday with the direction
becoming more westerly during the afternoon following the passage
of a cold front. With this, a few wind gusts to 40 mph will be
possible and that is enough to blow around lawn displays, garbage
cans, and make for tougher driving of higher profile vehicles.

midnight tonight, with isolated gusts in excess of 40 mph possible
in any rain showers which develop early Wednesday morning.

Temperatures falling below freezing tonight into Wednesday morning
will promote a refreeze of any melted snow. This melted snow
across untreated roadways and bridges will refreeze into black
ice. Sidewalks and parking lots will also become slick.

Slow down and use caution when driving. If you are walking
outside, watch your steps on sidewalks, driveways and parking
lots. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your
risk of a fall and injury.
