* IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
  traveling through mountain passes. Blowing snow could
  significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree
  branches.

* WHAT...Periods of moderate to heavy snow, strong winds and blowing
  snow. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 15 inches. Winds
  gusting as high as 60 mph on the mountain tops.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN...Until midnight MST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Mountain recreation will be impacted by heavy
  accumulating snow and blowing snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall will occur on west and
  northwest facing slopes, including the mountains near Cooke City.
  The mountains around Red Lodge will see much less snowfall, 1 to 5
  inches.

  inches across much of Yellowstone National Park. Higher
  accumulations of 8 to 15 inches across higher elevations of the
  Pitchstone Plateau and the western portions of the Absaroka
  Mountains. Gusty winds of 20 to 35 mph across Yellowstone National
  Park and 35 to 55 mph across the Absaroka Mountains.

* WHERE...Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone National Park.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, with hazardous
  conditions impacting any travel through the area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of moderate to heavy snow are
  possible through Noon Saturday. Snow and gusty winds could cause
  reduced visibilities and drifting snow.

...Intense snow showers will impact portions of south central Lake,
northeastern Missoula, southeastern Sanders and west central Powell
Counties through 115 PM MST...

At 1211 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking intense snow showers along
a line extending from near Ronan to near Ovando. Movement was east at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Visibility one-half mile or less.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Low visibility could result in dangerous driving
         conditions.

Locations impacted include...
Ronan, Ovando, Seeley Lake, Allentown, Helmville, Kicking Horse,
Charlo, Fort Connah, Clearwater, and Woodworth.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 83 between mile markers 0 and 32.
 Highway 93 N between mile markers 34 and 48.
 Highway 200 E between mile markers 26 and 60.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall are possible through the late
morning/early afternoon across the Western Mountains, Jackson and
Star Valleys, the Upper Green River Basin, and the western Bighorns.
Gusty winds combined with snow could cause reduced visibilities and
hazardous travel.

Wind gusts of 30 to 50 mph are expected, with isolated gusts above 60
mph possible, much of the day across the western mountains, the Wind
Corridor, and the Wind River Basin.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday through Thursday...Multiple chances for snow across western
Wyoming and widespread breezy to gusty winds.
