* WHAT...Snow expected. There is a likelihood of moderate winter
  weather impacts. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4 inches.
  Wind gusts as high as 35 mph. Rapid drop in temperatures creating
  freeze-up on road surfaces.

* WHERE...Polson, Flathead Valley, Mission Valley, and Flathead Lake.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 5 PM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...For MODERATE winter weather impacts, expect disruptions
  to normal activities. Hazardous traveling conditions. Use extra
  caution while driving. Closures and disruptions to infrastructure
  may occur. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  morning and evening commutes, especially over higher passes.

  winter weather impacts. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
  in the valleys and 4 to 10 inches in the higher terrain including
  mountain passes.

* WHERE...In IDAHO, Southern Clearwater Mountains. In MONTANA,
  Kootenai/Cabinet Region, Bitterroot/Sapphire Mountains, Lower
  Clark Fork Region, and Missoula/Bitterroot Valleys.

* WHEN...From 11 PM MST /10 PM PST/ this evening to 5 PM MST /4 PM
  PST/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. For MODERATE winter weather
  impacts, expect disruptions to normal activities. Hazardous

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially over mountain
  passes. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow is expected to develop this
  evening and intensify after midnight before tapering off Friday
  afternoon. Gusty north to northeast winds developing early Friday
  morning could create areas of blowing and drifting snow.
