* WHERE...Central Sacramento Valley, Mountains Southwestern Shasta
  County to Western Colusa County, Northeast Foothills/Sacramento
  Valley, and Northern Sacramento Valley.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind gusts up to 45 mph decreasing quickly
  late this afternoon and evening.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusts exceeding 65 mph are possible for areas
  downwind of the Carson Range such as Mount Rose Highway and Galena.

  excess of 65 mph. Wind prone areas along Highway 95 could see
  gusts in excess of 70 mph.

* WHERE...In California, Mono County. In Nevada, Mineral and
  Southern Lyon Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
  Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

  3 to 5 feet on Pyramid Lake from mid-lake to northeastern shores.

* WHERE...Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
  Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
  Areas of blowing dust may reduce visibility, especially near
  deserts, playas, and sinks. Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards
  will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until
  conditions improve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Now is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio
furniture, holiday decorations, and trash cans before winds increase
which could blow these items away. The best thing to do is prepare
