An Air Quality Alert has been issued by the following agencies:
Washington Department of Ecology
An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, and
Okanogan Counties until further notice due to current and expected
smoke from regional fires. Particulate matter (PM2.5) may reach
Unhealthy levels for areas directly downwind from active wildfires.
Other areas may reach Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups or worse. While
occasional clearing is possible during periods of stronger winds,
smoke production continues to be significant from regional fires. Be
sure to check air monitors in your area before outdoor activities.
When air quality is Unhealthy, everyone should reduce exposure.
Limit time outside, avoid strenuous outdoor activity, and follow tips
for cleaner indoor air.

Nez Perce Tribe
The Air Quality Advisory issued for the Nez Perce Reservation remains
in effect. Wildfire smoke may move in and out of the area depending
on fire and wind activity; some areas may be more impacted than
others.
The advisory has been lifted for areas outside of the Nez Perce
Reservation in Lewis and Nez Perce counties.

The Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency have issued an Air Quality
Alert until noon PDT Saturday.
For the Smoke Air Quality Alert, wildfires burning in the region
combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach
unhealthy levels.
Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate
heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health
problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it
is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung
condition.

Northwest Clean Air Agency
An Air Quality alert has been issued for Skagit and Whatcom Counties
effective immediately through 9 AM Saturday, August 15th due to
expected wildfire smoke from regional fires. Particulate matter
(PM2.5) concentrations may reach unhealthy levels in the eastern
portions of Skagit and Whatcom continues.
When air quality is UNHEALTHY, everyone should reduce exposure.
Limit time outside, avoid strenuous outdoor activity, and follows
tips for cleaner indoor air.
