...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...

  Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County.

For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This warning will be in effect until further notice.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued Wednesday afternoon at noon PDT.

...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.

* WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and
  overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road
  inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning
  to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM PDT Tuesday the stage was 20.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:30 AM PDT Tuesday was 20.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near 20.5 feet
    through Thursday, before rising for several days. The river
    is forecast to reach 21.8 feet Tuesday, May 05. Additional
    rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
