...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and
  Grande Ronde Valley.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds are expected at the southern
  end of the Grande Ronde Valley, especially in the vicinity of Ladd
  and Pyles canyons.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
