...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM SATURDAY
TO 11 AM PDT SUNDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 4000 feet mainly along the crest and
  passes of the Cascades. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 10
  inches. Lower elevations along the east slopes could see a
  couple of inches of snow.

* WHERE...East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Saturday to 11 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

  of 4 to 10 inches, except up to 16 inches above 5000 ft. Winds
  gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...West Slopes of the Northern and Central Oregon
  Cascades.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Saturday to 11 AM PDT Sunday.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 11 PM PDT
SATURDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations
  of 3 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...The southern Oregon Cascades from Highway 140 northward.
  This includes Lake of the Woods, Highway 62 and 138 at Crater
  Lake and Diamond Lake, and portions of highway 58 near Crescent
  Lake and Willamette Pass.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will drop quickly overnight
  Friday and rain will change over to snow during the heaviest
  precipitation. There is a 70 percent chance for 1 inch an hour
  snowfall rates for a couple of hours between 4AM and 8AM.
  Snowfall rates will lighten after that. Temperatures will be
  very cold Saturday night, and any wet roads in the Cascades
  could refreeze.
