The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center has extended the
avalanche warning.

* WHAT... The avalanche danger is HIGH on all slopes. Natural and
  human-triggered slides are very likely.

* WHERE...The mountains near Cooke City.

* WHEN...In effect through Wednesday 530 AM MST.

* IMPACTS...Non-stop heavy snowfall will make human triggered
  avalanches very likely.

* PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Over 2 weeks of
  relentless snowfall has created very dangerous avalanche
  conditions. Avoid ALL avalanche terrain including avalanche
  runout zones. Avalanches can be triggered from flat terrain and
  come crashing down.

Similar avalanche danger may exist at locations outside the
coverage area of this or any avalanche center.
